Niharika Rao (they/she) is a New York-based reproductive justice organizer and policy advocate. They’ve worked at Advocates for Youth, where they successfully led government relations for a New York law mandating access to medication abortion on public university campuses. Niharika is also an abortion doula with the New York Abortion Doulas and co-founded the Reproductive Justice Collective NY, an intersectional collective focusing on youth abortion access and queer and trans health. They serve on the Board of Directors of Jane’s Due Process, a Texas abortion fund. Obsessed with NYC history since her family immigrated here, in their free time, they can be found walking my rescue dog, Dobby, as they listen to audiobooks about the city.
