Kelly Novak (she/her) is the Interim Vice President of Communications at NIRH and NIRH Action Fund where she oversees media strategy and relations to bolster proactive reproductive freedom policies and build the profile of NIRH leadership. She also supports partner organizations across the country with communications technical assistance. Previously, she worked for Planned Parenthood of Greater Ohio as the Director of Health Education and Outreach, where she oversaw community-based services to 40,000 Ohioans annually. Kelly received her B.A. in Journalism from Ohio Wesleyan University, is a graduate of LEAD Ohio, and was previously a Lead Ohio Now fellow with the Rockwood Leadership Institute. She also earned her J.D. from the City University of New York School of Law.
