Statement from Andrea Miller, President of the NIRH Action Fund
“We believe firmly that we should trust women and the people who come forward to tell their stories, always. And that is what we must do now.
The NIRH Action Fund PAC previously endorsed Gov. Andrew Cuomo because of his record on leadership for reproductive freedom. However, no amount of public support for policies that advance reproductive freedom can ever excuse sexual harassment. There must be a fully independent investigation into the accusations against the Governor. He should be held to a standard of full accountability for his actions, just as we’d expect of any other leader or public servant.”
